Also, as we start hosting events again, our foremost thoughts and prayers are for your safety and we will plan accordingly. Please stay safe, and we look forward to seeing each and every one of you.

PAST EVENTS
Jeff, Michiko and the kids arranged for a few of the students to attend a horseback riding event at Cottonmill Park. There were five horses, one for each student, with Michiko and the kids riding afterwards. Following that was a nice picnic at one of the shelters.
Jeff and Michiko hosted a few students over where one of the interns made and served a traditional Alaskan meal with Salmon that he had caught himself and canned. We also had Denali Moose Tracks ice cream for dessert, as Denali is the largest mountain in North America and is located in Alaska, which is a fact that they are very proud of.
Jeff and Michiko had a special fishing event for the students, which was run together with the UNK Biology Department and Nebraska Fish and Game. The UNK Game and Wildlife Society provided the helpers, Nebraska Fish and Game provided the poles, bait and expertise, and we provided the food for the BBQ after. It was a lot of fun for everyone, so we will definitely be doing it again.
